Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Debt and deficits,
  • Performance measures and government program implementation,

  • Revenue policy,
  • The effectiveness of economic stimulus proposals,
  • Regulation of financial and other markets,
  • Emerging technologies as tools to improve government services or budget execution,
  • Stewardship of public funds,
  • The Congressional budget and appropriations process, and
  • Presidential management programs

APPLICATION PROCESS

Submit a 300-word abstract and a resume or CV to [email protected] no later than June 18, 2014. Abstracts should include a title, summary, methodology, results, and conclusions (for research that is already complete).

Proposals will be evaluated by a combined team of practitioners and academics on clarity, research methodology, originality, innovation, and potential for overall contribution to the fields of budgeting and program analysis.
